If you arrive in Thurso by car, you'll see brown tourist signs that point you in the direction of the riverside carpark. It might not be obvious on first arrival so once you reach the car park (which is directly opposite Riverside Interiors) you can leave your vehicle there (it's free) and then walk a short distance to the Museum. Walk up Wilson Street until you reach the very top, turn right onto the high street and you'll see our front door.

Here's a few handy approx travel times that might help you plan your trip, please remember to drive carefully and be mindful that in many remote areas there will be narrow and often single track roads. Take plenty breaks and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
